Fossils is Lullabies 6th release. The title is inspired by a lyric in the song Hereafter, by Rocky Votolato, "Now I realize songs are Fossils...I decided to keep digging up more bones." It speaks to me of the musician/writer's draw to their calling and the nature of song. That music is more than something we just do, or consume, but it's something beyond us that we get to partake in the manifestation of.
